Sorry if this is the wrong forum..
The reason I'm posting this is,I've got a concept for a project, but I've got no instrumental skills and I can't find any interested parties to help me get it off the ground.

It's something that you might be into or you might not.

The way I see it,it's a transcendence between black and doom metal, but I don't want to limit it to those two.
The catalyst is,instead of the traditional vox/guitar/bass/drums setup,it's a concept that I borrowed from a band called Shrum (http://www.myspace.com/shrumtribute)
Shrum was a death metal band which featured 2 bass guitars instead of the aforementioned setup.

I want to use this concept to pay tribute to Shrum in itself, and to further it utilising my own concepts for the sound.

If any of you are interested, that's awesome,if not, then I understand.
I've got a drummer lined up(if he likes what he hears..eventually.)

Please note that this will not be for live work of any sort,so if anybody's interested in collaborating on studio tracks for this please, by all means, let me know.

I'm in Sydney by the way..but location is not a necessity.

Cheers.

Never heard of Shrum, but I always quite liked what those Greeks Necromantia were able to do with bass-only black metal. Also, Shaxul (ex-Deathspell Omega, Hirilorn) is in a band called Arphaxat which has no guitar, only bass. I've got the tape, but I've never listened. It probably rules though.

Interested in hearing what would come of this.

I've heard the other bands, but Shrum was what I had heard first so it still sticks out to me.

Whenever something gets recorded,I'll have it up somewhere for listening.

I'm glad I'm seeing responses here.
