What does everyone make of this news?!

"I believe so, yes. He has been executed. It has been officially announced that he has been executed," Abbawi said.
Iraqi officials who attended the execution of Saddam Hussein said only he was executed today, and that his half brother and another former regime official would hang after the weekend Islamic religious holiday.

Glad to see him gone as from what I understand he was a fairly evil person. That being said, I'm never entirely comfortable with the death penalty. |

This is typical American horseshit. Its funny how they can hang Saddam, but not do a thing to bring Pinochet to justice, or the fact that they were still supplying the Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot with weapons up until the late 80's (ten years after his mass 'cleansing' of the cambodian people). I guess anything is OK as long as they keep there oil and stop the threat of communism... America will only step in if there is something in it for them, christ they started Osama when he was helping them fight the war against the reds in Afganistan.... now he is their enemy... how hard is it to find a 6' 6" bearded man attatched to a dialisys machine in a Pakastani cave!!! |

haha, yeah, and people wonder why every other nation hates us. Well the powers that work for our nation basically rule the counrty. Im sick and tired of them being able to spy on us, They can even go through our mail. Dubya is gaining overwelming power. Well at least the dems are controling the thing now. I want to get out of this war as fast as possible. Because the next president will surely take as much advantage as they can. Whatch to see what they will promise while campaigning. They will say anything, because that is the most powerful position in the world right now. |
